I do not agree with your premise: God ... keeps putting situations on earth to test us.

The reason for my disagreement is found in James 1:13.

Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am being tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone.

As to your conclusion, unless GOD Himself is a lab-rat, your conclusion is not supported by Scripture.

Gen 1:26-28  Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.

Multiplying and filling the earth certainly can be an attribute of rats. And roaches. But the other stuff does not apply.

P16, I am scratching my head about this question. My answer is directed toward the literal interpretation of it. I feel, however, that you might be asking something else or that I am missing something.

I think that God created the first cell, and within it, all the possibilities ever imagined. I don't believe that God "takes the good ones to be with him", or that God makes specific daily choices on what to hurl in my direction.  The situations you ask about, to me, are life, and what the human race has made of life.  We have had to evolve to survive.  This is the natural order of things.  Life cannot remain stagnant and continue.  Those that could not evolve to suit a changing world had to die off.  I just don't believe that God tests us.  I think that life tests us, otherwise we would stagnate.  We would stop fighting for life, and therefore, stop evolving into better and stronger individuals.  Man, through our desire to live forever, has turned us into lab rats.  Our neeed for bigger penises, bigger breasts, hairier heads, has turned us into lab rats.

JayR, this may be a stupid question, but are you male or female?  Y'all have me confused!

Do you agree with them?  You pose these questions, and seem upset with Christian beliefs, so what are your beliefs?  Forget about Christianity for a minute.  What do you believe?  What makes sense to you?  The God I believe in is love and is in me.  The God I believe in doesn't need to test the faith of mankind.  My God whispers in my ear to do the right thing ~ "He" is my conscience.  Stop looking for Christainity to fit the bill for you.  Look to yourself for the answers.
