Live simply, love generously and  care deeply.

Wait and see, can't speak for all of them.  We Christians will vote for McCain.  My question is, how will the pagans and athiests vote for the presidential elections?

Those are my thoughts. I welcome yours.

No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.

Single issue voters bore the hell out of me only slightly less than they scare me.

Didn't we learn anything from JFK? My God, we couldn't elect him, he was a CATHOLIC!!!!

A president's belief in God is not going to effect war, energy, China or any of the other thousand things that are more pressing.

I would hope (pray?) that a voter...Christian, Agnostic, Atheist,  Buddhist or whatever would be intelligent enough to vote for the candidate's POLITICAL and ECONOMIC views rather than to whom, or how he may pray.

Wink  Headphones: you can listen to music you like or keep other noise out.

That's a good one. I am a Christian. I can not speak for all Christians. My personal feeling is that the book of Revelations is unfolding before us...earthquakes, fires, floods, psunamis and on and on. I believe there's a God and I know I'm not it so I can't stop it. What does this have to do with your question? No, I am not participating by voting for Obama who I feel is the antichrist. That said, again, it's my opinion.

Be Blessed.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (Love), I am become as a sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vauneth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seekth not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is (Love) charity.

Paul,

I am a Christian, blood washed and sold out to Jesus Christ. I will be voting Democrat. I don't believe that Obama is the antiChrist. My bible tells me that a house divided among itself cannot stand. How can Satan profess Jesus Christ as his personal savior? I believe that there is an antichrist but Obama is not the one.

God Bless.

My goodness, Tippy & I agree on something.

Obama is not the antiChrist.

"Goose", there have been other times of trouble, pestilence & other acts of nature.

No, because time does march on, 'the end' is nearer than it was yesterday, last month, last year, last decade, last century....I don't believe it is as near as you envision.

If we, as Christians, are to believe in the infinity of God then 2008 years is a meer blink of His eyes. I think that just as any other proud parent He want to watch us and to be proud of us.

I think He has not yet seen us face & conquer our greatest challenge. No, I don't think that challenge will be China or North Korea or Iran. I don't know what it will be. I know that my grand children's children, children, children may see it. But it will not happen in my lifetime.

See, for all of you that (mainly in other forums) have questioned my faith system...I DO have a strong conviction & belief in God. I just do not think he controls every aspect of our lives....I think He could care less if Golfer X makes a putt or baseball player X gets a hit or if we can talk our way out of that speeding ticket (I couldn't).

I honestly believe when He (as the old rock & roll song goes) "rolled His big sleeves up" and created us He gave us remarkable tools, all the tools we needed for greatness. I think that He wants us (as ANY parent would) to use those tools to succeed & prosper. The same as if we parents always come to the aid of our kids...what do they learn? I think He leaves us pretty much alone to see how we use/misuse that most awesome gift: Free Will.
