To answer this question is to understand mans relationship with God.
Man is created by God and given two gifts. The first is his intellect seated in his frontal brain.The other is his intuition seated in his back brain.The intellect he needs to navigate his way through the Gross matter of the Earth,the intuition for him to connect to his origin in the spiritual spheres so as to get his bearings right;the proper use of both will bring about balance needed for good earthly life.
Mans purpose on earth is to mature spiritually so as to return to paradise a useful spirit. He is to live as a bridge to the spiritual unseen environment which is the abode of those elder brothers of his who did not need to go down to the earth in other to mature because they are already mature and useful.So the intellect is limited as to what it can calculate.It cannot divine God except the intuitive brain is put into proper use.This is why overcultivation of the intellect is described in the Bible as Hereditary sin passed over to us from our forefathers.It makes the modern man so unbalanced as to forget his connection with his Home.
Man cannot even divine God but arrive at a greater conception with greater supression of his intellect through fasting and acquisition of spiritual knowledge.God is outside this creation.
