Gmail bug or change in behavior?

I've been using Gmail for a long time. When I replied to someone's post, my reply used to be added at the bottom of the so-called "conversation" just after I sent it. Recently it doesn't -- I get a message that "your mail has been sent" or something like that, but I don't see my reply at the bottom. If I exit this conversation and come back to it, I see my last reply. I find it a bit annoying. Does it happen to anyone else? Is it something with Gmail or could it be Firefox 2 that I'm using?

Are you sure that you did not change the subject? If you did , Gmail is opening a new discussion and you can see it in the SEND section.

Yes, I'm sure. When it happened to me the first time I thought I must have changed it, but it keeps happening and I'm sure I don't do it.

Thank you for your try, I appreciate it.

Thank you for trying. I replied to a few e-mails today, and this problem happened in some cases only. It looks like it's a bug somewhere. Nevermind, I can live with it. Thanks again.
