What is the revenue of global e-commerce sales of 2007, and the expected for 2008? In other words, how much money did the e-commerce industry roll in the entire world, in all e-commerce websites in 2007, and what is expected in 2008?
The kind of answer I'm looking for is something like: "The e-commerce industry made sales worth of $xxx in the entire world in 2007... and is expected to make $xxx in 2008".
I doubt such an answer can be given to you.
Quite a lot of the date is confidential, not all of it is tracked, and I wouldn't know where to look for one comprehensive figure.

According to the article + research, $175 Million Dollars was spent online in 2007. I strongly suspect that the correct figure is in Billions, not Millions, as moments later the article provides an estimate of $204 Billion Dollars for 2008, and $235 Billion in 2009. Hope this helps.
