Although I'm not exactly qualified to answer I do have a few things to say. First of all, these days there are so many different types of business degrees it's probably true to say that most employers don't even know the difference between the majority of them. As long as you don't go for one that's too far out there then I think most will stand you in good stead. My friend is doing European Business and I can't really see how that would differe immensely to an ordinary business degree because it's not like you would not be allowed to work in european business if you had a different type of degree.

From what I know (which admittedly isn't all that much) I would probably have to go for a Business and Marketing degree route. And if I was any good at maths I might go for Business and Finance. Both will open many doors for you but quite possibly in very different directions.

Good luck whatever you decide!

Getting an M.B.A degree (Master in Business Administration) from an ivy league school will probably get you where you say you want to be (and more..).

Of course, you will have to choose a route to specialize in - Marketing, Finance etc. (even IT Management is available these days..).

Look up the top schools lists on the web (every year the lists are updated). Also note that the terms of admission are always very high in these schools - but it's worth it!

Good Luck!

Adelphi University has a really good 42 credit business program.  They teach you how to manage a business and how to start a business.
