Getting married

My boyfrieds 1st cousin is getting married.  She verbally invited us6 or 7 months ago.  Everyone in his family including brothers and sisters got invites in the mail.  After his sister hounded the bride (the 2 are very close)we finally got an invite 4 weeks before the wedding. 

The wedding is 6 states away from us, and after receiving an invite to a wedding 4 weeks away with no idea of if we actually "are" invited should we go?

Don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things.

If you ask me, something doesn't sound kosher. I wouldn't travel 6 states for this wedding. I think the two of you should go on a well deserved vacation the same time that the wedding takes place. I am sure you will have a much better time.

If you can't handle the truth, why bother to ask the question?

You are invited...you said so.  First verbally then by official invitation.  If you can go, and you want to go...by all means go!  You say four weeks away as if it were tomorrow.  That is plenty of time to plan a trip.  It sounds like you are feeling slighted since you did not receive your invitation when everyone else did.  If you really feel this way, speak to the bride to be.  Be nice!  Don't put her on the spot, but tell her you feel you were invited only after the sis put pressure on her.  (she asked you to come long ago).  You may find that this is not the issue you think it is.

Honesty is the best policy.  

There may be problems later if you don't show up. My suggestion? GO! Make it a vacation with your boyfriend out of state and attend the wedding. ENJOY!

No I wouldn't attend this wedding.  It is inconsiderate to send an invitation 4 weeks away from the date, especially if you live 6 states away.  It is an expense, and unless you are so into this wedding, response no.
