Getting fired after 11 months

Am I entitled to severance pay after 11 months? Do I have sufficient grounds to sue if I think they're only letting me go so that I won't make a full year, and won't be entitled to benefits?

When life presents a challenge, take your shot.

Yes... I believe that if you are being fired and that the company has no good reason for it, you can sue.  However, you will probably end up losing money from having to pay for a lawyer and all that.  It might not be worth your time and money, even if you are right.  Maybe you should focus your energy now on looking for another job.  I'm not sure, it's a tough decision.  Good luck though... and maybe you can talk to a family member or friend that's a lawyer and they can help you out with all this without it costing you a lot?
