How did you find your way to Yedda? On July 20 ...

I live in a very isolated area in rural New York State.  I was depressed, bored, lonely, and looking for a place that I could make some kind of a contribution ~ a place to feel needed.  I started at Wikianswers, but found it to be the puppy mill of answer sites. It was very impersonal, and you felt insignificant there, more like a number.  Yedda was the next place I went, and found the perfect setting for my skills.  I answered my first question on June 9th, 2008.  I found many people who needed my help, who appreciated my assistance, and who tolerated my sense of humor.  I was even able to play matchmaker quite successfully, as I have united Fifthbeatle with a marvelous woman that he may actually deserve.  We shall see!!  I met DB, and Equus, and FB, and many other people that I love with all my heart.  I feel I have carved a niche for myself here and it feels like home to me.  I am addicted to Yedda, and if I cannot spend time here, I feel its loss tremendously.  I send out my love to the following people who have helped me on my way ~ Equus, DB Lady, Fifthbeatle, Elena, Daniel, JayR, Geminigrl, Andy, Deborah, Donna Lynne, Paddster16, George, and CircusEnvy1.  There have been many more who have given me wonderful advice, scolded me when necessary and made me laugh, which is always a great thing.  Thank you all!

Hey , I stumbled across Yedda one night or shall I say one morning , when I couldn't sleep ,July 4th 2008 .  I started looking around felt somewhat comfortable and started answering a few questions . Most of my advice was appreciated so I carried on .  The first people I met were Fifthbeatle , Skitch , DBLady , Purefaith , OronD and MCB . I consider each and every one of them a friend along with many others on Yedda , that I am also very fond of . I would like to thank all of them for their friendship . Skitch Thanks .    Little did I know my entire life was about to change .  You see ,  I met the most wonderful man a woman could hope for . He has made my path in life very clear .  That's my story , a Love story .

Hey FB what up dude?

    I was looking for information on why I would be getting air in my water heater. Needless to say I didn't get any help in that department; however, I noticed that there were many extensions to this site, so I looked into it a bit more and realized that I might be able to help some people with their situations. I also considered that I might find some like minded people.

   I have found some very good people on Yedda. People that are genuinely concerned about others. People who want to be a help. I feel that I have grown because of my association with these good people.

   Speaking of good people, has anybody seen Chex lately? Where did you go bro?!!

Hi FB,

   I discovered Yedda accidentally on Feb. 28, 2008.  I asked a question and some of the people who answered were OronD and Profitbob.  They had excellent and insightful answers.  I'm very thankful that I met them and some wonderful people like Donna Lynne, Skitch, Equus, FB, Deborah, JayR now JJR, Daniel Night, Morethan1, George, Geminigrl, Elena and Monkeyface.  You just don't know how Yedda makes me laugh outloud when I see a funny question and funny answers.  Yedda keeps me out of trouble, since it keeps me glued to the computer.

    Like Skitch, I am addicted to Yedda.  It's now  my new hobby.  Well, I'm glad I found Yedda because I have the privilege to exchange ideas with very intelligent people like you are guys and I learn quite a bit everyday from your posts.

    I wish that Yedda will maintain its great image.
