Mr. Jqna, Although I am a heterosexual male, I am very much in favor of gay and lesbian rights in this country. For far too long gays and lesbians have been discriminated against. It appears that those who are totally against having gay parnerships are the same who are the extreme right wing political zealots who preach hate and discrimination. Therefore, there is no way to negotiate a settlement between these two opposing groups and one will lead to another, and another. It is about time in this country that we are capable of admitting to ourselves where is this hatred coming from? Certainly, I believe most or all of the anti-discrimination laws on the books are from those very people who preach love, understanding, and respect of their fellow human beings. All one has to do is listen to "Lindberger and Beck," from Fox Noise, to understand the issue at hand. In my own words, "Live and let people who are different than our own live their lives the way they wish without trying to force the Churches dogma down the opposing throats of the others. I wish you luck in having these your happiness. Michael Joel Held
