Gas mileage for a 2000 chevy z71???????????????????

No one can tell you the answer without more info and even with that, it would be impossible to be accurate. Manufacturers must include the expected mileage when new however most people are disappointed with the actual figures. If you are asking for the reason of a possible purchase, I would take an educated guess of about 15 to 17 overall. Not very good.

This is a difficult question to answere: It depends what kind of terrain you live in. flat land , hilly land, city driving stop and go? . also if you have a v8 or 6cyl. Sorry I Could not be of more Help. I have a 2005 Jeep 4.0 v8 that adverages 19.5-20.00 mpg. The way I figure my millage Is I write my millage each and every time and put the results on a note pad. I live in Hilly to and mountain terrain which would be different If I lived on flat land

My guess is that it is 15 city/18 Highway based on the 5.3L V8 in the Silverado LT.  The Z71 is actually a package and not a trim so you would need your window sticker to tell the rating of you specific vehicle.
