I have used the hex wrench tool to turn the unit and it seems to turn freely. the unit hums but does not turn on when I turn it on at the switch.
Just a old Country Boy, would give you the shirt off my back, just don't try to take without asking first.....
2 things although the hex wrench sometimes works I like a plunger handle unless you have a disposal wrench. there is a reset button under the bottom of the disposal be sure to reset. A note about disposals, never put something in it that you can't personnaly eat and
