My favorite board game is Chess. chess game is like war, each piece on the board has its move. we have PORN that can only move one step at a time but also have the ability to move twice only at the beggining of the game.Its movement is straight but can only attack and maybe(depending on the players choice) kill its opponent diagonally and with one step.
Next is the Castle that have the ability to move vertically or horizontally , and it can move as much steps as possible.
And then the knight(typically horselike in shape) that can move in L-shape(some refer to its move as 7-shape) and to any direction on the board.
Next is Bishop that can move diagonally on the board and attack same.
And then the Queen which has the power to move in any direction on the board(but not like knight).
Lastly the King that can only move one step to any direction on the board.
Castle,knight,bishop are in pairs, the board is typically painted black and white and therefore we have one castle in white spot and one in black spot. same with knight and bishop.
th game will get to an end when an opponent's king is trapped( called checkmate)
and will be a draw when it is not possible to checkmate the king(called stalemate).
It is a very strategic game and requires concentration(think of it as you are in war with another country).
