Gaining weight while workingout

Hey!! Need help !! why is it that when i work out 4-5 days a week of resistance training and running for 60 min that I find it harder to lose weight given that I am watching my intake... When I don't workout for a week or so I lose weight... Does this mean I will never lose the 3kg I am working on losing......

everybodys body is different, but may  I suggest that first you count your calories per day you probably need around 1,200 to 1,400 per day write down what you eat if you eat small meals you can eat 5 times per day. example 1 apple, 1 piece whole wheat toast with 1 teasp. peanut butter. That is a small meal, grapes are great, a banana a day is good, yogurt and baked chicken. If you do not get the diet right you want loose weight, strength training should be combined with other types of exercise or you may find yourself bulking up but not loosing weight. mix up the types of exercise you do, you need to get the heart rate up but not always running is necessary. Work at this and you should loose weight but you also need to see your Doctor and discuss your new plan of action he may want to do a psysical. good luck dru

Since you're working out so much I suspect you are building muscles and losing fat. Muscles weight more than fat. That could explain your weight gain.
