samsung d900i why is the GPRS icon constantly on the display screen and how do i remove it

You should go into your Internet settings and change connection type from "Always On" to "When needed"

i know i am gonna sound thick but i have looked on my menu and cannot find the internet settings this is the first samsung phone i ave had and i aint quite got to grips with it please help :)
