God is love Smile

A:

qurrizzle, it's awesome that you care that much for prayer and that you love the Lord.

Jesus teaches us to pray persistently. It's like a way to express to God how much we need what we're praying about and that we have faith in Him. On the other hand, God's answer could be in different ways. Sometimes He says no because He knows it's not the best thing for us. However, sometimes if we insist to have what HE says no about, He allows us to have it but finally we pay the price! And sometimes God wants us to wait until He gives us what we're asking for in time. His timing is different than ours! And it's also important to learn how to be patient. And, of course, other times God gives us what we ask for just after a short time.

Some times we're asking for something that God wants us to work on. You know, if the parents care for children to be more independent, they wouldn't keep doing everything for them, they would let them do some stuff alone. In the same concept, God won't do everything for us as if we were babies, because some things we are able to do on our own.

God bless you, dear :)
