Funny best man speeches / Humorous best man toasts?

Looking for some examples of funny best man speeches, I just can't seem to start writing anything ...

The groom is a great guy and I don't want to disappoint. Please, if you know of any resources for funny best man speeches / humorous best man toasts would you be so kind as to share.

Short, funny, freaky, wacky etc.

Time is running out - the wedding is this Saturday (Yes, I know - don't ask!)

Man, I know the feeling only too well - I left my best man speech until the night before the wedding! Ha ha, I might be able to laugh about it now but believe me at the time I was in dire straits ...  I panicked for hours, followed by prolonged self pity and finally disbelief.

Anyway, I did something intelligent for a changed and searched the net - examples of funny best man speeches . Luckily I found  Dan Steven's best man speeches . There was a small fee of about 19/20 dollars (might be more now - should be) which I gladly paid and had immediate access to a wealth of different best man speech examples and toasts. Anyway, what I did was I checked which speech would best suit the situation, cut and pasted most of it and added some of the free jokes and humorous toasts. The whole speech must have taken me about 45 minutes to prepare.

I didn't memorize my best man speech, just read it off of the cards which I prepared. Everyone laughing a lot, which is not something I achieve ordinarily  (intentionally that is). The speech came across very professional and everybody was quite surprised, to say the least (going on my already slightly unreliable reputation -  quite undeserved of course).
Anyway, the best thing I ever did was checking out those funny best man speeches examples.

Thanks so much Pet60 for your help,

Just to report back, I used the website which you suggested and found some excellent funny best man speeches - all so effortless, had my speech prepared in no time with minimum hassles - worth every cent!

The wedding was a little stiff but my best man speech was a cracker and relaxed the mood a lot! Everybody loved it.

You might like to check out this page on the groom's speech - there are a few good lines there that you could borrow for a best man's speech together with a section on delivery (projecting your voice, tips for not getting nervous, etc).

What does a funny best man speech consist of?

I'm the best man at my best friends wedding and I have to give a speech. This is the first wedding I've been to since I was a kid, and I have no idea what the speech consists of, or how long it should be.

Secrets to a funny best man speech:

Short
Sincere
Sober

Play second fiddle, you only want to be remembered for having done a nice job.

Jokes are tricky, your best bet is to tell a quick funny incident which makes the groom look good, but still gets them laughing.

For Funny best man speeches, start by introducing yourself and who you are to the bride. If she has a good sense of humor, you can tell a funny story about you two, or her and the groom (as long as it's in good taste and isn't too embarrassing).

Best Man Help is No. 1 on Google for "Best Man jokes" and I found their sample speeches simply stunning, they were funny and also included all the important stuff along with a few secret tips, the link is Best Man Speeches

I don't recommend using the web for this sort of thing. The best man should be doing this research, and should say something from the heart, not copied from the web.
