I am the fundraiser for NAMI, a fundraiser was held by a band in a Bar and Grill. I was told by others connected to NAMI that we could not allow bands to hold fundraisers in Bars and Grills. Has anyone ever heard of a problem with this? I myself felt that if a band wanted to help those with mental illness that we should not tell them no. I must say that we reached several in need of help in that very bar and grill.
