No if he couldn't do it in person why would you want to be friends with someone like that?

Love is the battery of life....

Hi,
Saying "I want that we remain friends" does not mean much..... he might say it just in order 2B nice and polite.  However, if you find out that he really mean it, you'll have to consider if you want it.... if it's only in an attemt to bring him back, than better forget about it (that's not the way) but if you have other good reasons (e.g: he is amart and intelectual and you enjoy having fun with him or his company) that's OK.
Best regards,

Live simply, love generously, care deeply,

speak kindly, leave the rest to God.

  Yes, you could be ordinary friends and no more giving sex.

{Insert Catchy Phrase HERE}

"We can still be friends" is a way for most people to ease their own conscience when breaking up with someone else.  It's an easy out, if you go for it he doesnt have to feel like he's crushed your heart, and if you tell him to stick it he can feel like he made an effort.  You have to be the one to decide if you still want him in your life

Personally: If someone disrespected me enough to dump me by text message I'd probably tell them where they could put their friendship.

Love your family, they are what God has blessed you with, and they can be be gone in an instant.

Now, first off how long did you date? Were you friends first? If so, I think you know the answer to your own question. Myself being the mother of five, I have been there for mine. If you think it was disrespectful, it was. Do not change because he want's to make himself feel better about what he has done. Next, as yourself if you really need a friend like that in your life. Is that the way you treat your friends. I think you really know the answer to your question but just need someone to help you out. God Bless and best of luck to you.
