Is A French Kiss, Well...FRENCH?

nomorepbreaks,  What is it with you?  On one of your earlier questions, you didn't like doing oral sex to your partner, but you wanted it done to yourself.  Now it seems like you don't like French kissing.  Is there anything you do like?  As for myself, I love putting my tongue down my husbands throat.  He loves it too.  You seem like you have some hangups, dear.  Maybe you need to talk to someone.

Anna, great answer. Nomorepbreaks, I imagine the French man who started it just thought, "Wow, this might be something  to try," after which his partner said "Hey, that was great, lets do it again!"  And they did it over and over and over, after which they told ten friends, who then each told ten friends, who each told ten more friends, and so on and so on, until it became so popular that everybody  all over the world was doing it and loving it and giving thanks to the original inventor by calling it a "French" kiss.  Now, you know the true story.  

Oh, and did you know that you can also spread diseases and viruses by sneezing, coughing, not washing your hands, etc., etc, etc.

I don't think it was written down in history books. But each generation will figure it out. There are worse things you could do.

Of course, the French don't call it a 'French Kiss'; to them, it's a love kiss.

Because of their reputations as sensualists, French has been applied to things considered risque.  'French Letter' is slang for a condom.  'French Inhale' is a freaky way to smoke.  The term 'French Kiss' was first documented around WWI.

Would ya believe the term is not in the dictionary. Stab in the dark. The frogs(ooopsa) THE FRENCH...Hmmm, now that I think of it, where did the term FROGS come from , for the french. No insult meant here though.
