Freedom of religion is a right guaranteed by the constitution. This means that the government can not pass laws which prohibits how or when we worship. It does not mean that we can do whatever we want, whenever we want without regard to the rights of others.

I am a Cristian and I feel that the Christian way is the right way. However, even that is open to debate. Some Christian denominations may think that other denominations are not Christian. That in itself does not mean that because there is disagreement that one should be curtailed by law.

The constitution was originally drafted for freedom of religion to protect the church from the state. Sadly, it appears that the constitutiion is being used for just the opposite; no Bible on the schools, restrictions on nativity scenes, no prayer on the schools, etc.

On the other hand, one person's rights end where another's begin. If we as Christians are in violation of another's right to sit somewhere in peace, without having to listen to somebody's prayer or the like, maybe there is a ligitimate feeling that we are forcing our beliefs on those around us. If this is true, then this is the reason the constitution was drafted with certain inalienable rights.

Personally, it does seem that we are tilted a little in favor of the rights of non-Christians. We are charged with the responsibility to take the gospel to the world. If the world just does not want to hear it, then the laws of the world says that they don't have to hear it!

Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked

Freedom of religion is the fundamental right of an American.  However our ancestors knew that God is not a religion, nor is Jesus.  That is why we are One Nation Under God, and our money says, In God We Trust.

Now people can believe any belief they want to in our great country.  Just don't tell us that our country is not founded under God, and don't tell us we have to accept your way of belief.  If you don't like our being One Nation Under God then you have the freedom to leave and find or set up your own country but not here!!!

God gave us this land.  Our promised land.  From Sea to Shining Sea.  God shed his grace on America.

Greetings!  Freedom of religion means just that, the ability to practice one's own belief system without fear of reprisals or prejudice by others who may not believe the same way.  It also means, at least in my humble opinion, that although we have the right to discuss our particular religious beliefs, especially when questions arise, we do not have the right to insist that others have to listen to our way of thinking.  Freedom means that there is no wrong way to the creative force.  Nobody has a handle on it.  I think this is why there are so many religious belief systems in place, so that everybody has a chance to experience the I Am in whatever way best resounds with them.  This even means that people have the right not to believe in a higher power, but again, they do not have the right to dictate their beliefs on those that do.  Blessings of Spirit!

Be Blessed.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (Love), I am become as a sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vauneth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seekth not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is (Love) charity.

I guess the same question can be asked about you, with this garbage you are posting. Is this the action of a real Christian? Does God's word mean anything? What happened to the part about loving thy neighbor as thyself? Would you like for anyone to post lies on you? Why do you do it to others?
