Hi Babs, I think you might get some more help for this problem if you added a bit more info such as quantities i.e. are you storing a gallon of each oil or a few ounces, same for the amount of dried flowers. Also, does everything have to be in an airtight container away from sunlight etc? Just offhand, depending on quantities you need to store, you could look into a product called Lock & Lock which are airtight, spill-proof containers. They are not crystal-clear but neither are they opaque so product might degrade. A good place to look at the variety of sizes and colors is QVC.com. You don't have to buy there, I'm sure it is available elsewhere, but they carry a good variety and you can get an idea if Lock & Lock would work for you. Also, sounds like you could use cupboards with pull-out shelves so that you can store a lot, but also be able to find and know what you have. I know this is brief and general, but hopefully it's a little helpful. One last thing, for organizing I would go to Flylady.com or just google organizing websites. There is so much good free info out there regarding organizing. It just may take a full day on the computer, taking notes, to find what works for you, but it's worth the effort so you don't end up with a lot of stuff that really doesn't work for your needs or doesn't work together well. Be sure and measure your room, length, width and height. If you have items that are already permanently in the room, get some graph paper and plot it all out, using something like six squares per foot (don't forget doors, windows and closets). If the items are movable, plot them out on a different piece of paper and cut them out so you can move them around the room as you plan. It takes a little time, but it is so worth it. Better to spend time than money. On the other hand, if you have a little money to spare, hire an organizer to help you, even if just to get you started. You can easily find someone with whom you will enjoy working by going to the National Assoc. of Professional Organizers website. Good luck!
