Free public arrest records?

It's going to be very difficult to search for free public arrest records online I will explain:

A common misconception for one is that many assume that because information is classed as public it should then be free (online). Realistically, however, there are offline fees in assembling the data: labor fees, material costs, administration etc. And of course there is also a large cost involved in putting the information online.

Some of the private companies who are charging a search fee have taken their own  time (costs) to extract information from a large pool of government resources. They sort and group this info (no small task) and make it available to the public.

It's because these private companies take data from a very wide net that we stand a better chance of getting complete and accurate information . If you had to try and search for this yourself, one by one, it would take a long time, lot's of driving to various government buildings, waiting for hours in queues, and finally, most likely, still paying a fee for the information anyway - which is often incomplete and/or inaccurate.

For this reason most people rather pay to use the online public arrest records search , (including myself). There is a fee, but compared to the alternative, it's a lot less hassle, much quicker and cheaper in the long run.

The guys I use are Gov criminal check resources , I have found them to be the best i.e. they possess the largest directory of information, are very fast and the information they supply is complete.

Have you checked the local newspapers - Criminal trials are reported locally - you must have an idea when the trial and committal took place.
In the UK we have newspaper libraries and the local library has newspaper records.

I have a criminal records but i did not declare. Now I have a license to sell ? You think after giving me a agent's no . they will not find out. I am based in Los Angeles You mean they don't do a criminal check on me , my records are drug offence only.

The criminal arrest records check is for that specifically. The police just simply look to see if you have had any criminal charges in your past and report that back to the employer.

Will a criminal record check show charges that were withdrawn?

Want to have a record purged , but want to make sure that the withdrawn charges wont appear on a criminal record check.
