Depends on what you want either for... wordpress.com is a little more restrictive on what you can add to your site if you're hosted with them.. Blogspot blogs are pretty open but building your main business on either is not a great idea. Having virtual real estate that you don't own is a risk, you could lose your site at any time. Using them as feeder sites or for backlinks is great though. Blogspot blogs are useful for building your email list.. there is a great resource for that on squeezepages.snurtl.com/beginner-list-building/
