Up to 4 children aged under 11 must be accompanied by an adult (anyone aged over 18) holding an appropriate travel ticket, e.g. Off Peak One Day Travelcard.

Free travel is available from 0930 on weekdays and all day at weekends and on public holidays, on all London Underground and Docklands Light Railway services, and on National Rail services between stations on designated 'inter-available' routes.

No photocards are required by any accompanied children either free or paid for.

Yes it is: - Children under five can travel free at any time on buses, Tube, trams, DLR, and London Overground services as long as they are accompanied by an adult who has a valid ticket, is using Oyster to pay as they go, has a Freedom Pass or has a Veterans Concessionary Oyster photocard. - Children aged 5 to 10 years can travel free at any time on buses, Tube, trams, DLR and London Overground services at any time.
