Format for Windows without losing info....

My USB key is used between two Windows computers. For the first time today when plugged in at the home computer, a message came up saying the key is formatted for Macs and asks if I want to format the USB. Will I lose my information is I select 'yes'?

Yes you will. Try to read it on another Windows computer to see maybe it was realy formatted to Mac sometime along the way.

Plugged it into another Windows computer and it still said it needed to be reformatted so sadly I lost my information.  Thank you for all the help!
