     We all have different opinions. We are all individuals; this primes is important and essencial to the functionality of this site as long as there is no attempt to enforce political or religious ideology.

Daniel, I totally agree with you.  It's never good to get into political or religious ideals.  I never do.  I am glad that I can state my opinion here also.  Hey jkgrandma, if you are out there,  I got cherry bread in the oven!  First time.  Thanks again for the recipe.

Let me know how the bread turns out - hope you like it.

P.S. Length of time knowing someone is not the same as depth of knowing someone. Some people can be acquainted for years, yet never actually "know" each other. Others can have met but a few short months ago and yet understand each other to the depths of "knowing" without any work at all.

Plain and simple? This time I am right, and PB was wrong. So I called him on it.

P.P.S. I may be a cookie-baking grandma, but I never said I was nice...

jkgrandma,  the cherry bread is great!  I used a smidgen less milk and a smidgen of the cherry juice for more cherry flavor.  Real good stuff.  Allow me to make another comment, please.  I don't think PB was wrong.  Skitch said part of her problem was the length of time she spent on line.  PB was only giving suggestions on how she could manage her on-line time.  He thought he was doing a good thing.  That does not make him bad, or wrong.  Now, as sweet and helpful as you are, you are not always 100 percent right.  I don't think you were right on this one.  You could have said something to PB like Skitch has other problems right now, and your good suggestions just won't work for this.  There was no need to put him down.  That happened to FB once, as you will remember.  And look what happened there.  Well, that is just another of my opinions, whether anyone likes it or not.  I was not nice at one time either, until some wonderful people became my friends.  They are so good to me, that I would never call them a know it all, or any other name again.  I am trying to follow a saying that I read recently.  Always be good to people, because you never know what they went through in life.  Thanks for letting me have my say.

        AMERICA

My country, 'tis of thee,

Sweet land of liberty,

Of thee I sing;

Land where my fathers died,

Land of the pilgrims' pride,

From every mountainside,

Let freedom ring!

My native country, thee,

Land of the noble free

Thy name I love;

I love thy rocks and rills,

Thy woods and templed hills;

My heart with rapture thrills,

Like that above.

Let music swell the breeze,

And ring from all the trees,

Sweet freedom's song;

Let mortal tongues awake;

Let all that breathe partake;

Let rocks their silence break,

The sound prolong.

Our fathers' God, to Thee,

Author of Liberty,

To Thee we sing;

Long may our land be bright

With freedom's holy light;

Protect us by Thy might,

Great God, our King.
