How can i cook sweet potato?

Hi..You can peel the sweet potato,cut in chunks and cover with water.Boil until tender,drain off water and put on butter.You can also wash the sweet potato and rub with a little shortening and bake in a 350 degree oven until done.Cut and butter.Some ,including me,cut up peeled potato,boil until almost done.Put in a baking pan and cover with butter and a little brown sugar or white and cover with marshmallows.Bake at 300 until done and marshmallows are melted.Delicious!!
