We all have choices.   Never compromise your integrity.

A:

No Clorox, no chemicals, just use water!  Soak leafy green veggies in cold water and swish around to remove dirt and pesticides.  Repeat this a few times, then rinse thoroughly in cold water before using.   Wax can't be removed in this way,  so you would need to wash thoroughly in cold water,  and then either scrape or peel away the wax.  Should be in good enough condition at this point to either eat or cook.  There are also products on the market called "Veggie Wash" and "Fruit and Veggie Wash" that are  supposed to remove soil, wax and pesticides.  I've never used them but they might be worth a try.
