Which one is a better option - ready made flash template or a custom website design?
The choice between a ready made flash template or a custom web site design is typically governed by the budget and the time period available for the particular project. Both options have their own merits and demerits. I always prefer a custom web site design myself, since it gives you a unique web appearance. But when I am hard-pressed for time and have to work within a smaller budget I go for ready made flash templates.

It depends on what you are looking for exactly. Many times there is not really a difference. You mostly need to know what you wish the underside of your site to be. Many developers today use a Content Management System (CMS) suxh as Drupal or Joomla or WordPress or some other CMS. If you have someone, such as http://SeattleNewMedia.com install a Drupal site for you and use a Drupal template from a site like http://TemplatesWanted.com, then you get the best of both Worlds and should have no worries.

It depends on the subject/niche. Flash templates are great for art-related, fashion, photography sites. Custom designs are usually applicable for business, product-oriented ones.
