Flag Staff Duty in the Navy

I just received orders to COMTHIRDFLEET as Flag Staff duty. What will I be doing? (I am a CTR2).

I know that flagstaff heavyduty is supposed to be a material used to warn other vehicles that you're coming.

I have no idea what it means int the navy.
