Fisherman's Net Christmas Tree Craft Pattern

I'm looking for the instructions for a craft called "A Fisherman's Net Christmas Tree" I received the pattern in 1968 from my home economics class in RI. The tree is made out of fisherman's net. It has a dowel in the center. A base to hold the dowel and a container of choice to put it in. Afterwards you decorate it with tiny ornaments and put a tree topper. It's about 2 feet in height when completed. I lost the pattern which gives you the lengths of each piece to be cut. It also give you the dowel size. I would be very happy if anyone has any information regarding this craft...

Thanks in advance, Alice

I believe I know the pattern you're looking for. It's called a 'nylon net Christmas tree'. I made these in home ec in 1960 or '61 in Wisconsin. If you do a google search and type in nylon net christmas tree pattern it should take you to the sites that have the pattern. I had to do this myself as I had lost my copy of the pattern when I moved to Oklahoma. Let me know if you find what you need.
