I can be altruistic. when it suits me.

Is FireFox better?

I hear about fireFox and want to try it out...%0d%0aI don't like incompatability problems and i use internet explore. I hate it and i hate microsoft. I am using my pc to access my bank, online shopping and also to watch a lot of streaming video. Will I be able to do all these with FireFox?

You'll be able to do almost everything with Firefox. For the sites that don't work well on Firefox you can use an extension called "IE Tab" that renders pages in Firefox with IE's rendring engine. Or something like that. Anyway I use it and it works well.

FireFox is an excellent alternative to Explorer. I find it quick and responsive.

One of the advantages are the extensions that can be added to the application to give the user additional functionalilty.

Firfox is better than most browsers out there! You get tabbed browsing. Gecko rendering engine. Awesome plugins, themses, and extensions. It automatcally asks you if you want to restore you session or close tabs once it doesn't respond, you exit out, or if it goes camanche on you. Heck there is code out there that tells the broswer to display another version of firefox within a tab (Firefox inside Firefox). There is also an extension out there that tells firfox to act like IE on IE only websites. So yes you get a better browsing experience when viewing sites.

Firefox is definitely better than Internet Explorer and it is for free.
Check out all the advantages Firefox has to offer you and you can even download it for free by clicking on the link/button at the bottom of the page at :

You can download it and use Internet Explorer and Firefox side by side till u are sure of yourself.
