Finding Work In The advertisement field.

I'm not working right now. How can I get in touch with the advertisement industry? Money is a factor right now, so if I could email some companies, that would save the expense of traveling at first to the company offices. If they are interested in me, I'm more then willing to go in person, I just want to get in touch with someone who might be interested in my ad ideas.

Beer, now cheaper than gas! So drink, don't drive!

I'd suggest posting your resume on careerbuilder.com and monster.com.

You should check out your local AdFed chapter. They hold weekly and monthly gatherings of people in the advertising field. You should have a business card and be ready to shmooze you way to getting a lead for an interview. Talk to everyone, present yourself and make sure to ask if anyone is looking for a job. I love my advertising miami chapter. Great events, great people.
