A:Finalizing a CD means that you are closing your burning session, you will no longer be able to change\rewrite on the CD (it's not reversible). you must finalize your CD if you with to listen to it. I also think that the new burners doesn't ask if you want to finalize the cd or not, I think it's made automatically cause the cd prices are very cheap by now.
