well,people,when you will wake up??????Federal reserve is a private institution,and i bet that only 2% of you knows that..check it on wikipedia and you will see.in the past they were the ones who create the big depression only to take the control of the other private banks and now they do it again...they let people belive that the FED it belongs to the people...but the true is that nobody can control them,not even the Congress.
I think that is a bit cynical. there is a board of governors and they are able to make the decision but I believe they have the countries best interest at heart and are respected business men and women.
There are some people who do benefit from a recession but I do not think they would cause one on purpose. Maybe I am naive!
