I have long suffered from odd "headaches". I do not feel pain. It is rather like my brain is being tickled. They are very brief but intense. For many years I saw no pattern to these irregular attacks. I finally saw cause and effect one day when my cat was licking the web between my thumb and forefinger. This triggered the above effect and did so again on other occasions (guess my cat had a web fetish).
My question is: Is this a symptom, a condition, or perfectly natural?
Can you retroactively connect the headaches to the cat (or another cat, or another cause of pressure in that particular spot)?
It is normal because it happens to you...
I think you might want to consult alternative therapy, such as acupuncture or Shiatsu or any other pressure spot technique. Trained therapists might be able to locate the source of pain and regain balance by applying pressure in corresponding spots.
I used to have headaches on an almost daily basis, and homeopathic treatment reduced them to one every month or even two months (and usually they occur because i don't pay enough attention and ignore perliminary signs).
I believe you are confusing 'normal' with 'natural'. The former would need to happen to a large number, perhaps even the majority, of people in order to qualify.
To answer your question, though I thought I had already, I CAN make a connection to the cat and other stimuli. However, the 'attacks' have occurred in the absence of similar provocation.
I must stress that we are not discussing headaches. I merely use the term in absence of a better.
I'm amused by the suggestion of alternative therapy before we've even identified the ailment or discussed its usual treatment. That isn't merely putting the cart before the horse but forgetting the horse entirely.
Criticism aside you have my sincere thanks for devoting your time to a tough problem. A pickle of a tickle.
I see you have already identified an ailment. Are you seeing a Physcian? Are you having tests done? When your body's sending you messages whether painful or annoying it's time to seek a Doctor who will guide you through the Medical system until you find the reason for this symptom. You should actively educate yourself in what ever this Doctor leads you to. I hope you find the answer to this and are relieved of your discomfort.
C'mon Yedda people!
Visiting a doctor or therapist or even a shaman may be sage advice but it is hardly an answer. Isn't providing answers what we're supposed to be doing here?
I am certain that I am not experiencing something unique. Please, respod if you recognize this symptom.
It's possible that you could be allergic to cats. have you ever had an allergy skin test done? Do these headaches happen when you're at home mostly? Check out this site for more info:

Aaaaarrrrgh! It doesn't have anything to do with cats.
