I have a Moen 7786 series faucet to be mounted in a top mount stainless sink. he mounting nuts on the faucet will not snug the faucet up on the sink, even with the use of the supplied spacer block. What do I do?
You (or your installer) have made a mistake. This faucet can be installed on any sink from thick cast iron to paper-thin stainless steel. If you don't have the instructions, here is a link to them online at the Moen site. Maybe the online info is more complete than the manual that came with the faucet. (Or you may be missing a part! That happens, too!)

Thanks for the response. I figured it out, I just added an extra spacer in there (actually used one of the supply line nuts that I did not need to take up the extra space).
