I know this Mr. Held the people of Chicago (the REAL people) of Chicago knew the REAL cost for the games. The same as those in Athens, and Montreal who spent and lost millions on the Games! The monetary gains would have made been money for those like Valerie Jarrett who had her bank ready to receive millions from the sale of her slum properties for Olympic venues! Money spent on venues are short lived the debt incurred is long term! And in the financial situation that cities and states are in now , it is NOT the time to saddle them with more debt!
