I think people are mad as hell and are finally speaking up. If only the politicians would listen!

Victims of circumstance owe it to fate. Victims of choice owe it to themselves.

The town hall meetings are not, but I am deeply suspicious about WH directed activities.

To Lido: I agree that many of us are angry. However - I believe it is misdirected. The Republican Party and their Lobbyist Supporters have milked middle America for every dollar they could. To keep us from learning the truth about how badly they screwed us they are diverting our attention. Sen McCain hired the hate mongers for his campaign and they still work for the GOP.

Divided we fall - American citizens fighting in public forums over having a better health care insurance plan made available for them. Not war, not the economy -- but health care. The worst part of this is the demonstration of how easy it was for the Republicans to manipulate people into the "Angry Mob" like Hitler and his people did in the early '30s.

It is not a far cry from the blind, frenzied, melodramatics demonstrated in town hall meetings to posters and billboards with anti-Jewish rhetoric. For now the GOP would have you believe this is all the Democrats fault. Next they will begin pointing out Jewish Democratic PACs. How long before computer GPS/Identity chips (the size of a grain of rice) are injected just under the skin (equivalent to the Yellow Stars and Tattoos)?

Who will the GOP eventually blame for all the ills of America? How long will their "Divide America with Hatred" continue? There have already been skirmishes - how long before it escalates to the use of Deadly Force?

Sadly - The GOP Senators and Congressmen are sitting back - laughing. They themselves have not "Directly dirtied their own hands". However the "Money Trail" has led directly to a Republican PAC. These same "Two Faced, Serpent Toungued, Republican Politicians - take Jewish dollars for campaign support and then laugh at these donators behind closed doors over their $60.00 a glass Scotch. Why? Because when the time comes - and Israel needs USA Military Intervention and Support - you won't find the GOP anywhere in sight. The Republicans will leave Israel to the Arab Desert Wolves.

After all - if they are not willing to help their own people have better lives - why should they care about a Jew???

And not for a minute do I believe that you are. While the GOP might leave the Israelis for the Arab Deset Wolves(this is not true), the democrats will hand deliver the Israelis to Esau's descendants.

To Jay: Today - both CNN and MSNBC reported that assigned people with instructions on how to disrupt a Town Hall Meeting and intimidate the speaker - were tracked back to a known Republican source.

These tactics of scaring the elderly, disabled, and those who rely upon SSI for their livelihoods were used in McCains' campaign too. Then the lies and hate filled rhetoric begins. All the while the real information is lost in the confusion. Now we have a man who was about to attend a meeting with a Democratic Congresswoman dropped a concealed gun from under his jacket - grabbed it - and left in a hurry.

The worse part about this tactic is it helps divide our nation while we are at war. We should be focusing on our brave men and women in uniform. Uniting in support of their heroic efforts. Giving them a 100% backing from home is the best message we can send to the enemy. As long as we act violently with one another because an overweight drug addict like Rush says to - Al Quaeda stays motivated. Rush has become the best recruiting tool Al Quaeda could ever ask for. He sits in his air conditioned office/studio - wearing $200.00 shirts - smoking $50.00 a piece cigars. When Rush finishes his tough and demanding 2 hour workday he kicks back and laughs at the audiences' gullability. Why should he care? If someone picks up a gun and wounds or kills someone at a town hall meeting - its not his fault. However it will make for a good lead story on gun control. "I wonder how much money the NRA will pay?"

Pontias Pilate had better scruples.

To Lido: I am an Honorably Discharged Veteran who was declared "Fully Disabled and unable to return to work". Then it took 2 years with the help of some Democratic Congressmen to find my request for benefits letter. It was in the same closet as a couple thousand other Vets. Which we learned was in Louisville,Ky.

My files were supposed to be in PA. and finally - 6 months ago I was assigned a clerk. In the meantime my family and I live on $670.00 per month. These problems are all tracked back to the Republicans who created a nightmare for disabled Veterans all across the U.S.A.

Don't you think your Veterans who were injured in the line of duty deserve the very best care? Don't you think the Permanently Disabled Veterans deserve to be treated with respect? Don't you think they deserve a better living than Welfare? You pay taxes and have the right to demand improving the care for Veterans. Have you once brought that subject up in this forum? Have you ever E Mailed your Congressman or Senator and ask if he or she are helping make the lives of Veterans and their families better?

I'm not asking to live "High on the Hog" but I believe Disabled Veterans deserve to be treated better than them Hogs. Health care for many Disabled Veterans is supposed to continue in the "Private Sector". Yet how many times have you seen news stories on how a Vet and his wife had to drive 3 hours one way just to get to the VA Hospital because the local civilian hospitals, physical therapy, and medical specialists would not accept them? This Health Care Package protects and improves the health care for all Disabled Veterans!!!

Whether I ama Republican or a Democrat is not the question to ask. The real question is "Will this improve Health Care in the U.S.A. for everyone?" For some folks they won't experience any change in doctors, costs, or pharmacy. While others won't have to fight tooth and nail just to get sores from their prosthetic arm or leg looked at.

So my answer is this - " I am neither Red or Blue -- I am Red - White - and Blue"!

To Jay: and what does that have to do with Health Care? Or are you implying that by giving Israel away we could afford health care here? I mean - really!!! This is exactly what I was saying earlier. It didn't take long for someone to come up with some anti-Israeli rhetoric.

By your implying that while you live and work here in the U.S.A. that your current government will give up on being an ally to Israel without a fight from you tells all the rest of us what your real agenda is.

The issue here is Health Care Insurance improvements. The problem is that the Republican Party is so dispicable that they have to stoop to the hate game.

I hope you rethink your position on Israel and Health Care Insurance. You might want to read what I responded with Lido's question too.
