Actually dauriti, I disagree that asking this question trivializes the concept behind yedda.
I understand that you believe that if something is not in Wikipedia, or Google, than it just can't be, but there is a lot of obscure information that is not readily available and sometimes quite obscure.
Now, for someone preparing a piece of content on people who share famous names, this question is not trivial. Especially, since I would rather use Yedda (the power of the crowd) than assume Wikipedia is the end-all be-all in information, or look through endless results on Google, yahoo, or msn.
I'd say your post is more counter to the spirit of Yedda, starting off with 'no offense' and then insulting someone you don't even know by calling them 'lazy' and saying their interests are 'silly'.
