Family Friendly Fox, the news alternative!

A few days ago, we visited a friend's home and wondered why everyone seemed so down, bitter, and angry.  We were very uncomfortable with them and these were people we had called friends for many years.

Why all the anger?  Why all the sudden hate?  Why the surly and defensive attitude problems?  Why all the suspicion and intolerance?

The answer was obvious from the news on their TV: CBS.  It was hateful, bitter, and negative.  Unless it was hysterically anti-Republican, they wouldn't play it.  If it didn't demonize veterans, they kept silent.  If it didn't manipulate FOR racism, they shut it out.

We went home before they started screaming hatred against America again, not that we bought their angry threats: we can take care of ourselves but when they started pushing our kids around, we departed their company, never to return.

Lester pulled out his photography gear and started analyzing CBS.  We had to buy an evening's view of these networks as DishNet and Hughes consider these "Pay-per-view-adult" listings.

Then we found out why.

Subliminal messages, 3-4/minute, all mindless hate against America and most called for wanton bloodshed.  That is one of the reasons no satellite broadcaster will handle ABC, CBS, or NBC.

We blocked these people from our system permanently.  If the kids want to watch nasty movies at a friends' house, that's one thing.  It is entirely another to invite leftist hate, bitterness, racism, and violence enter our home.  And it is another still to allow our kids to suffer subliminal commands to act out violence.

The absolute negativity we suffer from Obamite racists is unforgivable, as is their racist and violent cult.

Spare your children these commands to act out violence for Obama.

Fox News is truly the news alternative.  It is not really news, but biased commentary for the most part that shills for the Republican party.  It largely supported Bush's efforts to lie us into the war with Iraq, maintain torture chambers, and bring down the economy with the mindless regulation-free business approach.  Please give us examples showing that CBS, et al., were racist.  That is pure BS.

The law works but the system needs changed, We all abide by the law but sometime it failes us. The same with the goverment. God bless the USA, Brign our troops HOME safely, To the men who did not get the credit they deserve, MAY GOD WATCH OVER OUR SERVICE MEN.

Yes CBS NBC & ABC report the news every day and as many others do CNN and FOX do also. We have newspapers also do you let your children read them also. And lets not forget in school they teach history do your children go to this class??? if not why not. As any AMERICAN would not let there children watch the news something is wrong with you the parents. So let them watch a movie channel instead which contains adult content Thats your answer to the problem you should not even have a TV or a RADIO in your House and do you listento the music of today i hope not it is worse than the nightly news. Look at yourself in a mirror and ask if you as children growing up did not watch the news yourselves if you say no then something is wrong with this wourld.

democrat and proud of it. someone trying to learn about conservatism before it becomes extinct

fox is not a news station its an opinion station. it is a extension of the republican party. its a 24 hour a day anti -obama and democrat station. i used to watch it when bush was president. i could tolerate it for short periods of time to see what the republicans were up to. now that obamas president it is just a lie and hate spreading channel. its has the hate radio format and its to hard to watch. its no wonder that the right is so paranoid and hateful.

True true.  I am so glad my kids are grown and that my grandchildren  are too.  The way this world is now, with all the kidnapping' and murders and rapes of innocent is awful...It's all because of man...Not god.  I never liked b.O. And didn't vote for him and his lies and won't change my mind.  God will judge him in time so why waste my time.

Mea Culpa: Fox News keeps making conservative-friendly mistakes

Every news organization makes mistakes. But when Fox News makes mistakes, they seem to tilt in a suspiciously consistent direction, favoring Republicans and conservatives over Democrats and liberals.

It happened again Wednesday, when host Gregg Jarrett, introducing a segment on Happening Now , described the "huge crowds" that were turning out to greet Sarah Palin on the promotional tour for her book, Going Rogue . "These are some of the pictures just coming into us," Jarrett said as images of Palin surrounded by throngs of supporters flashed across the screen.

While Palin may indeed be drawing big crowds, it didn't take long for liberal watchdog blogs like Think Progress and Media Matters to point out that the masses Jarrett touted on Happening Now had nothing to do with Palin's book; the footage was from a 2008 campaign rally. Called on the switcheroo, Fox blamed it on a "production error" and issued an on-air apology.

The whole thing might have gone unnoticed had it not been for an eerily similar incident last week in a much more prominent venue, Sean Hannity's primetime show. In this case, the crowd Hannity was hyping was the one that gathered to attend a rally against the healthcare bill on November 5. The footage he showed, however, was from the much larger Sept. 12 "tea parties." In that case, it was The Daily Show that blew the whistle , forcing Hannity to apologize on the following day's show.

And then, of course, there are all the Republican miscreants Fox has mistakenly identified as Democrats, like Mark Sanford and Mark Foley , and the insufficiently doctrinaire Republicans it has ID'd as Democrats, like John McCain and Arlen Specter (who did, in fact, become a Democrat later).

One would like to think that all of these were genuine accidents, not intentional efforts to mislead viewers. Hannity's show is advocacy, not news, but even he could surely find more effective and less backfire-prone ways to influence the debate than outright deception.

Even so, this pattern of ideologically-slanted errors illustrates the danger of packaging a news operation around a core of opinion programming. As long as Fox News is a network by and for conservatives, the people who produce its shows -- even its "objective" shows -- are going to see in the news what they expect to see rather than what it really is.
