how do u own a falcon in da state of california??????????
Life is lessons in love. No regrets.
Check with your local pet store to see if it's even legal to own a falcon. If it is, they can likely direct you to a place where you can buy one.

In the United States you must have a falconry license to own a bird of prey. This means taking a test, finding a sponsor, getting proper housing and equipment before you can get your permit. You then serve a two year apprenticeship during which you may only have ONE bird, either a wild Redtail or a wild Kestrel. These birds Have to be taken from the wild. After your two years you become a general falconer and may possess two birds of varying species. Birds may be purchased from breeders but I know of none in the U.S. who will sell you a bird with out the proper documentation. Birds of prey make terrible 'pets'. They need to flown and hunted. They HATE to be petted and don't respond to affection.
