Fabric on the walls

I recently read an article on applying fabric to walls using fabric starch.  I am wondering if anyone has used this technique, how did it look and when you removed the fabric, how was the clean up?

What you think about you bring about!!!

I'm sure as heck no expert on this type of thing, but I think that'd be an awful mess to put up and then take down when you got tired of it!!

Years ago I read something in a decorating magazine about fabric; this article suggested making a frame the size of the wall, and then attaching the fabric to the frame, then putting it against the wall......if it's a large wall, and impractical to have a frame so large, just do it by halves......cannot recall what they suggested to anchor the wood to the wall, but it'd sure be lots more practical than fabric starch!!

Sorry I can't provide more details, but this will hopefully give you something to think about!!  good luck and have fun with it!!!!!!!!
