Replaced an old car stero/cassette player with a new JVC AM/FM/CD receiver (KDR300). Radio sound is perfect but CDs produce static and crackling. Would it be the unit or something not hooked up correctly?
Most likely it is a problem with the deck. I assume if you took it out and put it into another vehicle it will continue to do the same thing. Seems strange for that to happen though.
