Chapter 13: Recap: Rachel knows how Joe feels about her. Nick's secret is bound to come out soon. Rachel is finding it harder and harder to pick between Nick and Joe. Umm...Nick's secret is getting pretty obvious...some of you have guessed right already! We were watching some movie...not really sure what it was, me and Nick were kinda making out the whole time. I saw the look on Joe's face. He looked like he was about to cry but he wasn't allowed to leave because he had to stay with one of us at all times. Kevin popped his head in the door. "Umm...don't mean to disturb you--" he started "yeah, too late for that" Nick interrupted. "Yeah anyway, me, mum, dad and Frankie are going down to the restaurant for dinner. Joe leaned in to me a bit more to keep me warm. It was pretty awkward. I just tried to stare straight ahead at the TV. Great. It was the start of a kissing scene. "You know, Joe, Im starting to question whether I made the right decision..." he looked at me intently. That sexy face...those beautiful brown eyes...I slowly moved my head towards his, and before I knew it, we were kissing. And I felt that feeling of electricity that I loved so much. Joe finally pulled away. "Don't do it if youre just gonna reject me again" he said. "Joe...I'm just so confused..." I said. Then I started kissing him again. No one pulled back this time. We started making out, and he flipped me over so he was on top of me. We were kissing passionately, and things were getting really intense, when I heard a small cough. "Am I interrupting something?" It was Nick. Crap. JOE'S POV: "I should've expected something like this to happen" said Nick. "I knew that Joe isn't trustworthy" I was really hurt by his words. "YEAH, WELL YOU'RE NOT TOO TRUSTWORTHY YOURSELF!!" I yelled. "OH, AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT??" he screamed menacingly. "EVERYONE KNOWS YOUR LITTLE SECRET, NICK!" I yelled. (Courtney's POV) About an hour later, I stopped crying and went inside. Krystal still wasn't home and I don't know where my dad was. Taylor walked into the kitchen where I was. "Courtney?" I looked at her, disgusted. "Were you crying?" She pulled out a chair and sat next to me. "Why would you care..." She paused and backed up. Soon, she came closer. "I had no idea you two were so in love." I shut my eyes trying to hold back the tears. "Now you know...But, it doesn't matter anymore. Drew, messed it up. He's going on tour, and he thinks i'm a liar. I curled into a ball on the seat. "Why did you give him my cell number?" I mumbled from my leg. "I never did." She said, shocked. I shot my head up. "You...didn't?" "Courtney, I know we have our up's and mostly downs, but I need you to know that I would never try to hurt you anyway possible. I love you as if you were my real daughter. Not step-daughter. My mother was never a great one to me, and I promised myself I would never act her when I have children." She shook her head, regretfully. "Look what I'm doing..." I got up from my seat and gave her a hug. She was totally different then I thought she would be. "I don't know who called, Drew. I currently didn't. He must of went threw the contacts because he came here after you left." I looked down. "Taylor, It's over. I can't do anything about it." She gave me such soul digging eye-contact, that I felt like i was going to collaspe. I walked up to my room and sat on my bed. I picked up my phone and went through my phonebook. I came across Joe's but didn't hit the "Call" button. I shut my phone and crawled to my pillow. A tear slide down my cheek. I fell asleep. I woke up for school. The teasing stopped. I was glad. When I got home, someone was waiting for me. I walked over. "Nick? What's wrong?" He pulled me into a hug. He knew. "My brother's an idiot. I can't believe he didn't trust you." I sighed. "It's over. For good." "Courtney, you have to try." I shook my head in disagreement. "Have fun on tour, Nick." I made eye-contact with him. "Tell Joe I'll still love him until the day my heart stops beating. Tell him, he's the best thing that ever happened to me and to get rid of all the pictures. It will make it easier." I paused and felt tears falling. I turned away and walked into my house. "Two days left..." I took a breath and placed my bag on the couch. My phone started to ring. "Hello?" I said not even looking to see who it was. "Hey girly, it's Carrie." I smacked my head. "Hi, Carrie." She was the biggest Jonas fan and talks about them all day long, has millions of posters, and goes to each of their concerts. "How you been?" I thought maybe If i stay quiet for a long time, she would hang up. "Courtney? I wanted to tell you, the Jonas Brothers, are going on tour with Demi Lovato. I felt you needed to know this information." She hung up. Oh great. The girl he was rumored to be dating in "Camp Rock" and now he's going on tour with her... This just brought me to more tears. I laid down and brought a pillow over my head. He will hook up with Demi, they will get married, have 5 kids, and live a happy life. He will forget all about me.
