Exploding Comet

Where is the exploding comet, recently visible to the naked eye, can be seen from?

How far is it from Earth?

Hi,  when I saw it months ago after it exploded, it was about 15 degrees to the right of the constellation casseopia, a W or M shapes group of starts in the northern sky. Viewed from Lumberton, NC, it was almost directly overhead back in November, but, even using the binoculars or telescopes, it wasn't what most people would call exciting. I could see it with only my glasses on, but it appeared to be just a white, fuzzy haze overhead. You can got www.skyandtelescope.com, or www.astronomy.com and here is another link I found at the first link's additional links: http://www.skyandtelescope.com/observing/highlights/11886291.html

If you have a telescope, use lower powers to observe with and gradually step up the power. If I can help with anything else, give me a holler. PS> There is a fine photo made my Johnny Horne, one of the best amateur astronomers I know of; in the sky and telescope link, he has a nice photo he took of it recently. His photos of astronomical events are breathtaking. If you wish,I'll send you links to some of his work if I can find them again. Take care and enjoy the heavens. Mark Savage, Lumberton, NC

the  question  is when is the next  comet    coming  and can you  tell me the date  so  i can watch it with my  telscopes  ok  thank you
