what does it mean when there is smoke coming out of your exhaust?
Love is the battery of life....
Hi,
It might indicate you have a problem with your catalytic converter.
This may indicate your rings need replacing. Oil leaking in is burning causing the smoke.
It depends on what color it is,if it is black most likely it is to rich of a fuel mixture,if it is white & tends to dissipate quickly it is coolant ,or a blown head gasket,if it is a white to bluish color it is usually oil hope this helps
What is the color of the smoke? blue means that the engine is using oil from broken oil ring, bad valve oil seals ect. If the smoke is black the engine is using too much gas, this smoke is probably from un burned gas. If smoke is white water is leaking into the combustion chamber blowen head gasket, cracked head ect. Is it using oil? do you have to continually add water to radiator. If you are continuall adding water check the radiator pressure cap. if the cap is not holding pressure water is blowing out on ground.
