Exercises for a knee injury

I hurt my knee a few weeks ago playing futbol/soccer. I have not seen a doctor yet because my doctor is on vacation. It has not been bothering me too much unless I am exercising. What can I do in the meantime while I'm waiting to see someone about my knee injury? I don't want to get out of shape so I need to find some exercises that won't hurt me any further. Any ideas?

Best thing I can think of is hydrotherapy. Anything in the water will be fine . Don't try any fast sharp movements work slowly on flexibility. I am not a doctor I would strongly advise you to meet one if you don't want to cause any permanent damage.
