How is it that if you have a set of data, x1,y1....xn,yn with a known linear relationship between x & y (y = mx + c), and the best straight line fit MUST go through xbar, ybar (xbar average of all x values, ybar is average of all y values).

Ex is back in action.

My ex boyfriend is a sweet guy. He really is, the reason why we broke up is because he wasn't over his two year relationship which makes sense.  Now he says that they don't talk anymore. He says that he really likes me cause I support him and don't try to change him like she did. Now we talk once and awhile via msn or email. I know he still likes me, and I know that he is serious about me. Of course I like him, but I have a boyfriend at the moment. My ex says things like " you are 10000000000000 out of 10" or " You are very special in my life" But do take note he is a jealous person, not just of my boyfriend now but of me. He drops hints that I am going to be in his future and that he wants to buy and apartment for us. Of course i'd like that but Im not sure what to do. He has a career now and is a really mathematical guy. When we where "breaking up" we went through many ups and downs, like one phone call conversation would consist of being mad, happy, crying, ecstatic. Now it's gotten so much better. Idk we are bringing back inside jokes and making new ones. My ex means alot to me, more than my current bf ever could, which is mean. But true. I think I will just wait and keep talking to my ex maybe see him once. But then where from there?

CrazyJenner,  I think you should not have any boyfriends for a while.  Lots of dates, yes. But not steady boyfriends.  Take some time just to be you.  You are real young.  Do not move in with anyone that you are not deeply in love with.  Get an apartment on your own, and be your own woman for now.  The steady, long term boyfriend can come later, after you have "seen the world", so to speak.
